Adrienne Starr is a novelist and essayist. She has written a collection of stories about music, illness, love in the time of crisis, and life as a survivor. Her essay, "And Now, for an Encore" was the winner of Real Simple Magazine's 2013 Life Lessons Contest. It appeared in the April 2013 issue of the magazine. You can read the essay here. She has also nearly completed her first young adult novel.
